A Miniature Portable Physiological Measurement and Analysis System

Project Mission | Intellectual Property | Project Status

Cybernet designed a system to allow remote physiological monitoring of space crews to allow scientists to better understand the complex interactions between cardiopulmonary, musculoskeletal, and neurovestibular systems in reduced-gravity environments. The system consists of a portable physiological monitoring system (wearable monitor and sensorized suit) and analysis system (central computer designed for onboard or mission control use). The system allows multiple data streams from multiple patients to be collected and transmitted via wireless communication to the central computer. Data processing and analysis programming allows coordination of the data streams on a continuous or event-driven basis.

Portable Physiological Monitoring System design.

Completed for NASA, JSC, SLSD.
