Cybernet performed research and development in the area of human visual performance related to specific remote driving tasks. Project goals included the development of a second-generation interface evaluation system using a helmet-based eye-tracking peripheral, collection of baseline man-in-the-loop data for remote driving scenarios, collection of data using virtual reality remote driving simulations, and comparisons between the two collections to improve both the collection activity and the simulation.
