Cybernet Systems developed an easy-to-use, fast, and nondestructive tool to detect areas of damage in aerospace vehicles. The main goal of the Phase II SBIR effort was to implement sensors and software for demonstrating functionality of the ESPI/ESPS approach for large area aircraft inspection. During the project, a compact optical head using advanced fiber optics technologies and a laser diode, loading methods, and related software were be used to realize the design goals.
